- The Library website will soon be completely revamped. Please be patient as the site will not be updated again until the new website is launched in June.
- The Friends of the Library will hold their annual meeting at Aldersgate United Methodist church on May 7th at 6:30 pm. The guest speaker will be Ron Rash, author of Serena and The Cove. Open only to members of the Friends, the dinner costs $15 per person. Join the Friends now and purchase a ticket at the main library in Shelby.
- The SUMMER READING PROGRAM is coming in June. There will be fun and great programs for all ages. For pre-school through 5th grade the theme is "Dig into Reading"; for the teens the theme is "Beneath the Surface" and the adult theme is "Groundbreaking Reads." Please register online to participate. Attendance at programs is not required.
