  • The Friends of the Library will host a program featuring three Christian Fiction authors. The program will take place on Tuesday, January 24th at 6:30 pm at the Main Library's Plaster Meeting Room. The authors participating are Myra Johnson, Jennifer Hudson Taylor and Dora Hiers. Each author will be bringing copies of their books and there will be time after the program for them to sell and sign their books. This program is free.
  • E-Books and E-Audio Books are Back! -- Once again our library system has access to large collections of downloadable books. The library has joined a consortium of 14 public libraries across North Carolina to bring this technology to our customers. This service is called E-iNC and the link is on our web page. You may remember that we had a service called One Click Audio. This service has been revamped and is now again available. Its name has changed to One Click Digital, but it has improved the number of adult and children's titles by broadening the number of devices that you can use for your downloads.
